It Chapter Two

   

The film tells the story of how grown-up children come to Derry to finally defeat the centuries-old evil.

The film was very long and viscous. Almost 3 hours for a horror movie is too much. From this tape begins to SAG heavily in the speaker in the middle, so there is boredom, and you start to get into the phone more often.

As for horror, in my opinion, the film is not very scary.

I wanted to scare the atmosphere and build fear, not such simple moves. But for impressionable people and those who rarely watch horror movies, This movie can be intimidating.

The cast is very beautiful. There are children from the first part. Bill Skarsgard is bigger and Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy and bill Hader are stealing all the attention. But I had the idea that in the first part I empathized more with the kids, they had chemistry and I believed they were a team. In «It 2,» you notice that each of the actors wants to pull the blanket over themselves. Some characters get more attention, some are more charismatic, and most of the time the characters run the movies alone, so I didn’t have a sense of team and chemistry between them.

And frankly, the film looks for the second time and is not as surprising as the first part. Characters and locations are the same, Pennywise is the same, even some jokes and horror stories are repeated from the first film. But looking at the same thing is not always interesting.

The result is a good adaptation of Steve king’s book, which is moderately frightening as well as amusing, entertaining and thought-provoking. If you like king’s film adaptations, then you can watch.
