Tomiris

Even some actors wrote on their pages “Impossible not to watch such a film”.  The film about Saka tribes, who lived in the 6th century. The main goal of the film is to show the identity of Tomiris, to arouse patriotism.

The film includes the period from the moment of birth until the brave girl became queen. If her mother died at birth of Tomiris, his father, the leader of the Sako-Massagetan tribes, is treacherously killed by his advisers at the sight of little Tomiris. After bitter sadness, her father’s devotees find it difficult to save Tomiris. To protect their lives, they live in a damned area for 10 years. They are attacked and all her loved ones die. At this moment, she will get hurt and survive thanks to the Savromats’ Tribes. In their area, she develops her fighting skills. During the raids, she finds an orphan boy like her, she takes him under her care. During a feast in honour of the birth of the heir of the Savromats, Tomiris meets his future husband, the son of the leader of the Dakhi, Argun. Most interesting, she also saw two traitors-advisers to her father, who didn’t have good relations with the Savromats. Tomiris together with the Savromats decides to fight the Massages. But during the war, Tomiris negotiates with his people, showing them the true face of the traitors.

After that, the massagets elect Tomiris as their queen and win the war with the Khorezmians. She marries. After a few years, her husband Argun and his son Spargaps go to meet with the Egyptian king Cyrus. They both die on this trip, after which Tomiris opens the war to Cyrus. They won on this war.

In general, the cast was shot at high quality and the cast was successfully selected and the director tried to convey the atmosphere of that era as well as possible. Also, to convey the sincerity of the film, the Sak language was studied and the actors played their roles in that language. But it should be mentioned that the film is voiced in Kazakh and Russian .If you are the constant viewer of a historical drama, the kazakh film created by spending approximately 10 billion dollars is waiting for you.
