After a long break in directing Mel Gibson, decides to make a film on real events, about the events that occurred during the second world war. The role of the main character is played by Andrew Garfield, all known as the new spider-man, who plays the role of the hero of his hometown. And in this film, he does not leave his role.
The film tells the story of Desmond Doss who went to war and was a conscientious objector, that is, for religious reasons, did not take up arms. And after going through a lot of Desmond becoming a nurse on the battlefield in spite of gender and race saved lives. Thus he showed a heroic act and became an example of bravery and courage. Criticizing the film from a technical point of view the work came out flawless.
The sound, camerawork, editing are all worthy of an Oscar. This film can be included in the list of military dramas, because one person without a weapon showed and proved heroism and was able to save many lives.
