After a long break in directing Mel Gibson, decides to make a film on real events, about the events that occurred during the second world war. The role of the main character is played by Andrew Garfield, all known as the new spider-man, who plays the role of the hero of his hometown. And in this film, he does not leave his role.

Sully

A film based on real events, about a pilot who saved the lives of 155 passengers.

The pilot, with more than 40 years of experience, due to the failure of both engines of the aircraft was forced to land on the water, which gave a 90% chance to risk the lives of passengers and crew. But expectations, fortunately, were not met: all were saved.

But in the course of watching the film, the viewer realizes that it does not rely on this wonderful occasion. The film shows how you can distort the situation. Even though the whole nation is grateful to him for his heroism, for special knowledge of the area, some could accuse him of false testimony about the work of the engines of the aircraft and making too risky decisions. They accused him of causing the deaths of hundreds of people due to lack of knowledge of the engines and there were other options for a safe landing.

The accusation was so convincing that he doubted his own decision.

And what happens next: whether the airline management is right or landing on the water was the only correct decision, you will learn when viewing.

The Shawshank Redemption

The film is based on the story of Stephen King’s “Rita Hayworth and the Rescue from the Shawshank”, published in the collection “Four Seasons”.

Perhaps in this picture absolutely everything is perfect. For 25 years, the film has not lost its power, depth and relevance.

The world of a person sentenced to several life sentences is gradually becoming different. First, the prison walls inspire fear and are very crushed, then a person gets used to them, and then they become family. How to live in freedom after 50 years in prison? The heartbreaking line of Brooks, the old librarian, makes me wash my tears at every look.

Gone with the Wind

The film is based on Margaret Mitchell’s novel “Gone with the Wind”

It was with this book that my love of reading began 7 years ago.

The timing of the film is 3 hours 42 minutes, but this time flies by unnoticed.

In the center of the plot is Scarlett, eccentric, selfish, impudent, purposeful. We observe how a young girl becomes a strong woman, able to endure absolutely all life’s hardships.

The beautiful Vivien Leigh became the living embodiment of the book image, it is simply impossible to imagine Scarlett as another. Clark Gable in the image of Rhett Butler captivates the hearts of the audience with his charisma, charm, courage, honesty and the ability to love.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

https://bit.ly/34kgici

The picture tells about the events that occurred in Hollywood in 1969. The once-popular actor Rick Dalton and his understudy Cliff Booth are trying to find their place in the changing world of the film business. It’s worth saying right away that the film turned out to be very stylish and atmospheric. You are literally 3 hours in 1969 Hollywood. Streets, costumes, hairstyles, cars, music, radio, movie clips amazingly convey the spirit and mood of the end of the «golden age» of Hollywood.

A Beautiful Mind

https://bit.ly/2RRtoLs

A brilliant film about a brilliant man, based on real events. This is the story of the great mathematician John Nash. The story that genius and madness are one and the same coin. How terrible to be alone with him, to be misunderstood by anyone but the closest, to believe and walk with you hand in hand from beginning to end. Under any circumstances.

This is an amazing love story that has become the main reward of a man who has lived most of his life in his world and faced a terrible misfortune with a severe mental illness.

The film is incredible in its depth and power. Great game Russell Crowe, stunning script, amazing plot twists. Beautiful music, beautiful scenery. Looking beyond the doors that are closed to the average person, you find yourself in a world where reality is intertwined with illusions, you have the opportunity to look at the world through the eyes of someone for whom » mind Games” — a difficult cross for life.

“I believed in numbers, logic and common sense. But having spent my whole life in such research, I don’t know what logic is, who defines common sense. I have come a long way through physics, metaphysics, illusions and Vice versa. You’re the only reason I’m standing here. I wouldn’t have made it without you. Thanks to you, I am.»

Five Feet Apart

Movies about love on the background of deadly diseases are usually either very touching and cause a desire to see something else on a similar topic, or cause rejection, because it is always «automaker». Also, the topic of diseases, especially against the background of news about sick stars of show business (or God forbid from a closed environment), causes subconscious fear, which means a desire to isolate yourself from such films. I’m interested in movies like that, they always cling to me and I give them pretty high marks even if the movie itself isn’t shot very well. So it happened with this picture.

The Maze Runner

https://bit.ly/2sswef3

I close the list of controversial films with a famous trilogy about a boy who survived (crossed out). Who got out of the maze.

The plot of the first film revolves around a teenager Thomas, who woke up in a strange place on our planet, surrounded by the same teenagers. The guy doesn’t remember anything about himself or how he got here. Like the rest of the boys, though. No, there wasn’t a lot of booze in the prequel, there was something more serious and interesting.

In an unusual place in which someone carries teenagers on the Elevator and the maze is inhabited by various specific living creatures that are extremely unsuitable for companionship or hunting.

However, this maze may be the key to the mystery of their presence in this place and lead to freedom. The problem is that it is extremely confusing and constantly changing inside. The guys take to explore the maze, trying not to linger in the evening, so as not to be behind closed doors closer to night.

I liked the plot of the first film-it seems like another fantastic dystopia, but the storyline is completely new, and therefore can not but cause interest.

The film perfectly reveals the human essence, putting the characters in a variety of life circumstances. And sometimes the opinions about the character changes throughout the viewing. And this is an additional plus of the story.

Perhaps, if you compare all three parts, the first turned out to be the most interesting and exciting. It had everything I wanted to see in a picture like that. And this movie should be stopped. But no, two more films were made, which ruined the charm of the main story when viewed later.

The second part was the weakest. Not even the terrific pinky (Aidan Gillen), who was just written to play charismatic bastards, could pull it off. Many creepy scenes with crazy zombies caused only rejection, and the game of most actors left much to be desired.

The third film turned out brighter, some characters were well revealed in it, and the storyline became more interesting — but the trouble is that the uniqueness noted in the first film is already irretrievably lost here. The film became like dozens of the same. Divergent, the Hunger games and more. All of this already was and was more interesting.
